Apart from the lovely weather, there was nothing about this that I can say positive - the food was terrible..feta cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions offered at breakfast,dinner,and lunch - breakfast alternated between warm hard boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. The hot food on offer at dinner and teatime was barely warm..and recycled into some other dish the next day? -NOTHING was thrown away here. The "all inclusive" offer needs seriously looking at, I don't think the owners understand the meaning? We spent in excess of £150 just eating elsewhere as the food became monotonous.
The hotel is directly beneath the flightpath of the airport and we were woken as early as 5am some mornings with the planes overhead.
The place to eat and drink is Mike's, about 300ft down the road from the hotel..lovely food, lovely welcoming owner.
The Asterias hotel has to be the most unfriendly place Ive ever stayed, the woman who apparently owns it watches the clock in the bar to...
