I stayed at Laem Din Hotel a couple of times. It's a fantastic place with clean, tidy and very spacious bedrooms (satelite channels incl HBO, massive fridge, free and effective air-con, huge balcony overlooking town). We read the reviews on this website and headed straight to the hotel from the airport. You can take a minivan/shuttle bus ran by Samui Accom to the hotel for about 150 Baht per person. The hotel is quite new so it's in very good condition and modernly equipped. The rooms are very clean and have large bathrooms. Every room has fridge, AC and TV.
