I agree with the criticisms of previous reviewers ie dining options shallow beach cabana accomadations no views no room service not even water in rooms. In addition my heading of beware relates to dining options There are only 2 a very expensive clubhouse that only opens at 6pm(only clubouse in a golf resort that opens when golfers are gone home)... more

I personally believe that the Abaco Club is just beautiful. Everything from the white sand beach to it's private houses are perfectly blended together in order to provide a great stay. Stayed here in May and had a wonderful time. The facilities and rooms are first class, not your typical Bahamas venue. Winding Bay is managed by the Ritz Carlton Group thus they charge for every little thing. This is not a typical hotel experience. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage with a fabulous view of the water and a full kitchen.
