Chosen from the map rather than for its location on our last night in Spain, SDDLC did not disappoint. Usual high standard of fixtures and fittings and smart interiors. Parking not clever though. Interesting town in the northern Spanish plains.

The small town of Santo Domingo de la Calzada is beautiful and this hotel is located right in the centre of the old part of town. The rooms are of a good size and comfortably furnished. The staff were very helpful and breakfast excellent.
