My wife and 15 yr old daughter stayed at Gela for a week in Aug 2010. Our apartment was basic, with three single beds, cooking area comprising a electric stove with oven and grill, a shower/toilet, smal balcony. Arrived here there is no reception you just have to wait for the owner to come, we got placed in a 2 bedroom apartment and the next day we were moved to a studio. Rooms were good except for the shower as water just goes all over the bathroom and comes back up the drain which stinks!! Our room only... More

We booked Gela as a last minute holiday with no reviews and hardly any information to go on apart from some negative comments about Sidari- so as you can imagine we were pretty nervous about it.
