Yes, the rooms are kind of out dated but they deliver what you need: a small kitchen, nice bathroom and four adult sized beds. Breakfast was better than average and service was good. stayed 3 nights in June 2012, first (ground) floor family rooms. AVOID: kitchen door in the rooms were closed and no keys provided, no toilet paper before one asked, room full of small flies, trash cans in front of the main door and weird smell in the rooms as well (mold?). Not nice with kids at all.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Online correspondence form was quickly replied to. Breakfast was fine. However, the room was very, very tiny, with a very, very tiny bed. My 'double' bed was two super skinny single beds right next to each other, each separately made up. No wifi in room.

Friendly reception is the best in this hotel - and location. Anyhow pricey for what you get; dated rooms and air-con (defunct).

All the Mariehamn hotels are quite the same. Small, not very stylish or modern, conveniently located, reasonably priced and good for non-fussy travelers. Rooms are basic but clean. Not luxurious, but comfy and they do the job of giving guests a good nights sleep.
