We booked this hotel through Hotel Club, and somewhere down the line our booking got messed up. Luckily I rang the hotel a week before we went to check that our booking was in place to find that they had us down for 1 night instead of 7! Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a walking holiday in April 2007. Friendly enough staff but hotel is dark and seems jaded. The Portugese tendency to turn all lights off could lead to dire consequences if you can't find any light switches on landings etc! Hotel is by a mini-roundabout and could be noisy from traffic.
