Location-wise this is excellent. In parkland and open countryside but only a short drive from the autoroute exit. We stayed in the Best Western La Metairie but the 4 star La Chartreuse is adjacent and this also hosts the gourmet restaurant (which we didn't try on this occasion). This hotel is in the same grounds as the La Chartreuse du Val Saint Esprit ****. La Metairie is part of the monastery buildings that have been renovated.
