First I would recommend you don't stay in Bridgewater not a great location for a holiday or a break. Lunneneburg is ten times better and has better hotels and dining. The Fairview Inn is OK but tired and when we stayed deathly quiet. They had a wedding reception on that day so we thought it would be lively but at diner... more

This newly renovated Inn and dining room Cranberries are fantastic. I have been several times now and have found the staff to be professional, experienced and dedicated. I recently spent a weekend with friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. The Inn went beyond what was asked for to create the most memorable weekend. Dinner was fabulous. The birthday cake was... more

Myself and 8 of my colleagues spent an evening, a night and a full day at the Fairview Inn, working on our Strategic Plan. The individual rooms were newly renovated and exceeded my expectations. The service was fantastic; and the food was all amazing (you have to get the sticky toffee pudding!). The meeting room was the most comfortable one... more

This is THE best place to eat/stay in Bridgewater. The new owners have gone through great lengths to get this hotel back to it original look. They've kept a wonderufl heritage feel. IT's all in the little details. It is so refreshing to have such a wonderful couple in town - people who care about the community. Cranberrys Restaurant is... more

Realize what you are getting here. This is an OLD hotel, I believe originally a boarding house, but it has been (and is being) nicely restored. The rooms have been expanded to something approaching modern size. For its age, it is in wonderful shape; the decor is nice, the staff is friendly, the restaurant fare is delicious (although I did... more

We celebrated the New Year by spending 4 nights at the Fairview Inn in Bridgewater. This was our second stay since November 2007. My husband and I travel extensively throughout Canada on business and this hotel is now one of our favourites. We had stayed here several times in the past when the hotel was under different ownership and the... more

The Fairview Inn is finally under new management / ownership and it surely shows. It's certainly nice to see that this old landmark is finally being appreciated after so many years of neglect and poor management. The reno's are not yet complete but what they have done is fantastic. The bar / lounge is very cozy and nice, and the... more
