This hotel does what it says on the tin. I have stayed there a few times, usually not for more than one night, and it has been friendly, clean and functional. The bath works, the shower works, there is evidence of ongoing refurbishment, and the staff are very good. This hotel would not be my first choice as holiday accommodation.... more

I was booked into this hotel with a tour group and having read the complaints was a bit apprehensive. It's rather random ("eccentric" said another group member) but I was relieved to find clean sheets, warm duvet, shower that was hot whenever I used it (though taped in position) and decent food (even good scrambled egg).
