This bed and breakfast is situated on the island of Grimsay at the south end of North Uist. Margaret Wiseman provides very comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation, including excellent breakfasts. She is also a delightful host, going out of her way to provide useful information and to make her guests feel at home. more
Definitely themost friendly and helpful hosts that you could meet in a B&B. By the end of our stay we felt like friends. Our hosts gave us great local knowlede and maps for walking. The acommodation was clean, comfortable and relaxing. If you are in the Outer Hebrides, definitely stay here. more

Stayed here in June 2007 and still rate this as probably the best B&B/Guest House I've experienced in my years of travelling in the UK - can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting the Outer Hebrides. We booked in for 4 nights at Ardnastruban House on Grimsay, a small island in the Western Isles, joined to Benbecula and North Uist by causeways.
