Assunta and Stephano were very helpful with directions, suggestions, reservations, etc. We had hoped to attend a cooking class but unfortunately Assunta became ill. We heard she was a marvelous cook. The common area was charming and inviting. The apartment was simply appointed, but adequate. We had two full baths, the larger of which had a septic problem that created... more

Casa Palmira is a little slice of heaven. Assunta and Stefano the owners are absolutely wonderful and ooooze Italian hospitality. The gardens of Casa Palmira are remarkable and often you will find Assunta or Stefano collecting fresh herbs or vegetables from them in order to prepare your meals. The food at Casa Palmira is decadent. Assunta and Stefano are extrodinary... more

Casa Palmira was absolutely wonderful in every way. We stayed there for a week, and the hosts were warm, hospitable, and extremely helpful in everything we asked of them. The location is STUNNING, and the they cook at Casa Palmira is alone worth the trip. I can't say enough good things about this place, our entire trip to Tuscany was... more

I recently stayed a Casa Palmira for a week (June 19th - 25th) with some friends while we were visiting Florence for a friend's wedding. This was my third trip to Tuscany and I have stayed in several Agriturismos / B&B's over the past three years. Casa Palmira was easily among the best places that I have stayed during my... more

We discovered this lovely B n B through Alastair Sawday's Italian guidebook, and found it a charming and very welcoming place to stay. The setting of the renovated farmhouse in a beautiful garden was perfect, it was about 100 metres from a country road, on a side lane. Our room was in the lower price range, so quite compact with... more

We stayed at Casa Palmira for three nights and emerged refreshed invigorated by the gorgeous surroundings, delicious food and happy conversation with other guests. The spot is beautiful, only very slightly marred by the sound of the road close by, but otherwise very peaceful. It is very easy to sit in the garden, drinking wine and reading, and feel totally... more
