Ett fantastiskt bemötande redan i receptionen. Mycket trevlig personal och väldigt god mat. Uppskattad underhållning och härliga rum. Återkommer gärna igen. A lovely hotel, located in the middle of nothing. A very hearty welcome already in the reception. A most pleasant staff and very good food. Live entertainment in the evening and rooms are excellent. Love it! I'll be coming... More

Suddenly we needed to stay over night in Gol and we called around a few hours before arrival. Many places were full, but luckily we got a room at Storefjell Resort Hotel. The journey from the centre of Gol took about 20 - 30 minutes, including slow traffic due to road-construction. The hotel is easy to spot, as it sits... More

This hotel is mostly popular during the winter (ski hotel) and is situated in the middle of nowhere in Golsfjellet. The closest train station is Gol and for there you either have to call hotel for the transportation or you pay for the taxi (which is not cheap). If you don't own a vehicle, your budget starts growing even before... More

The drive to Storefjell is a windy, steep, sometimes unpaved, road. We got there in the rain and after a long day of sightseeing. We had booked a budget room, but the description clearly stated "double room with pullout sleeper sofa" We were assigned our room and there were only stairs to access this room. The room was extrememly small... More

Recently stayed for 1 night at this hotel. The hotel is large, consisting of a number of different buildings connected by a large lobby area. Rooms to the front of the hotel look out over an impressive far reaching view, those to the rear face onto an upwards mountain slope. We had booked a budget room, this was very small,... More

This is an excellent winter hotel with all the facilities. Open in summer also, but not the best hiking area in summer. Still a very good choice.

We were touring the west coast of Norway with our Norwegian friends and stayed overnight here. The rooms were very good. We took a walk up to the top of the small hill behind the resort and, WOW, the scenery was awesome - mainly a flat plateau with majestic mountains in the distance - no wonder it is a successful... Storefjell is a big hotel located at Golsfjellet 1000 meters above sea level. The hotel is “in a middle of nowhere” so you do have to use the hotel for everything from eating to the nightlife. But the hotel can offer very much. This hotel is like a cruise ship with a lot of activities, many common rooms and a... More
