A marvellous house with a long history, immaculately restored by the present owners who could not do enough for guests. Accommodation was very spacious, fine views from the guest's sitting room. Breakfast was very good. Criticisms? Only one, the bed was too hard for both of us. Personal preference perhaps.

We had a superb 2 night stay at Hill Farm. The bedroom , bathroom and adjacent sitting room were spotlessly clean with lovely views over the grounds. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast on both mornings and we were well located to explore the area. If we are ever up that way in the future we would stay again.

We had a very happy stay, as we always do, very comfortable and friendly, and the food is excellent. Look forward to our next stay.
