We love Villa Borghetta... very close to Florence, Siena, San Gimigano and the outlets where you can find good deals. The staff was very friendly and helpfull at the same time. The lady at the front desk gave us great tips where to go to eat and what to do around the area. Make sure you go to the only... more

The location and views from this hotel are beautiful, and our deluxe room was on the 3rd floor, corner room with spectacular views. However, that's about all that can be said for this hotel. We checked in around 2pm and were told nothing was open for lunch. The novice clerk at reception could not suggest anywhere in town where we... more

We arrived at the hotel and like many others carried our suitcases in from the car. We arrived at 3pm and it seemed to be a problem to get something to eat. After a call to reception eventually a cheese and ham sandwich arrived on tough bread. The room was adequate but cold due to the fact that the hotel... more

Location is great, rooms are romantic and .... that's about it. Staff is arrogant in way I've never experienced before. There is no service whatsoever aside form 1 junior reception guy and 1 of the cleaning ladies. All others (if present at all) of no use. Restaurant quality is ok but not for the prices they charge. Bar is always... more

We just returned from Italy and the Villa Borghetta was a wonderful respite from the busy cities of Florence and Venice. It does seem to be a normal routine in Italy to always "downgrade" your room no matter what you paid for. So as with other hotels, we had to stand firm on changing the room from one bed to... more

This establishment is an absolute disaster. The staff (whatever staff there is) are extremely rude. We drove 2 hours to get there and we got lost on the way. Nobody was there to answer the phone to help give us directions and once we arrived we had to carry our own luggage up their steep driveway. The entire place has... more

We have just spent an amazing week at Villa La Borghetta, we were married in the grounds of the villa and 33 family & friends joined us to celebrate our magical day. The villa is set in the rolling Tuscan hills and has breathtaking views from every room and terrace. We booked the whole villa for our wedding party. What... more

Well, let's start by the location. The place is in the middle of nowhere in the city of Figline Valdarno...the roads to the get to the resort are like an enchanted fairy tale...then you get to the hotel and it's not exactly like the photos you see on the website. It's very nice, but not quite as refined and luxurious... more

The hotel is beautiful and has a striking view. Our room (103) was large, had a patio, and a jacuzzi tub. However, there are too many negatives to recommend this hotel. The greatest negative is the location. As was mentioned previously, the place is impossible to find. The instructions are not only inadequate, they are actually incorrect. There are no... more

Wonderful view to the valley from a renaissance villa with many beautiful terraces. Kind staff. Good food. But some problems: Poor breakfast, no heating before the 15th of October, no lunch after the 1. of October and no information about this. Still this is a place for a wonderful and relaxing holiday. more
