I arranged a week in the Marche area of Italy in a beautiful walled medieval town of JESI and found this small hotel on the internet. I also found some old revues which said it was shabby & rundown. However the hotel website suggested otherwise.
All was well from the polite & helpful welcome at the reception to the arranging of taxis for our return to Ancona airport.
The rooms were spotless and functional, plenty of hot water and fresh daily linen.
The breakfast were entirely adequate with a help yourself arrangement.
Views from windows of no interest, but you do not go to a medieval Italian town to stare out of a bedroom window!
