Amazing location. You feel like you are in the middle of no where yet the supermarket is 5 minutes away on foot. Amenities: drying cupboard was a godsend. Kitchen great for self catering. Had everything we needed and more! Previous guests had left some bits. Bathroom and sauna good. Steps a little steep up to the maisonette area. I wouldn’t recommend for 5 or under. We had a double bedroom with the most amazing view outside. Nothing better than after a long tiring day outside, coming back to the cabin to light a fire and snuggle on the sofa to watch a film. We took a usb of films to plug in. Location: 10/10 Cabin always hot. I turned the under floor heating down as far as it would go! Would go back and recommend to others

We came here through a TUI package and luckily the cabin and location is amazing but staff are clueless and I don’t understand how they hire this people. We had to wait hours after our arrival, they took us to the wrong cabin and gave us a rude attitude. If you try to contact any customer support no one will answer or reply to any question as they have no idea either. There is a fireplace and sauna and we had to figure out on our own how to use them( imagine the risk for people who never set up any of those before) as no one came to guide us through, there was a manual with vague instructions for the fireplace and the sauna in the manual was completely different from ours( ours was an electric one and in the manual the instructions were for a wood fire one). The pick up from the hotel to the airport didn’t happen as they “forgot” I guess about us and had to take a taxi instead. If you try to contact any of the advisors they will say they don’t have a direct line to the Lapland reps and that you will need to wait for an email reply ( we were in the middle of nowhere and if something were to happen to us we had to wait for an email reply).

Not the place for skiers, long walk into town with equipment especially when Zero point has no available lockers. Stains on bedding, not enough towels. Not enough seating in lounge for family of 5. Only had hot water for about 2 hours a day then nothing until the following day. Beds very uncomfortable, outside lights stayed on 24 hours so difficult to sleep as curtains didn’t block it out.

We stayed in Levi log cabins w.b. 29th January. I was a little concerned that they would be a distance out of town but not at all. A five minute walk to the supermarket, 10 minutes to the town centre and zero point. That said, I wouldn’t want to carry ski equipment so we rented a locker at Zero point for the week. I’m not sure how much this cost as we realised helmets were not included so had to rent those too.(I’m sure prior to covid helmets were free) Two helmets and a locker for the week ( which only fits two sets of equipment) came to €140. Ingham's reps were great and the usual excursions were enjoyable except for the snowmobiling. The tracks were incredibly bumpy and I had to cling on for dear life to not be thrown off! The drink break at the cabin was lovely though. Food is expensive but we enjoyed Nilli Poro (owned by a local reindeer herder) Renna and King Crab. The ski cafes were good too but the one at South Point was very busy even though the slopes were quiet. A few supermarket meals kept things a bit cheaper. The cabins are lovely and well equipped. The stairs to the upper beds are very steep and young children would need to be supervised coming down. There is a gate at the top which is a great idea. We would definitely return!

We booked our stay with Inghams from Boxing Day to NY’s Day 2022 at Levi Log cabins, for ourselves and our 2 children (ages 9 & 5) to experience the whole magical winter wonderland and to meet Santa. The setting did not disappoint as the cabins are authentic Finnish log cabins with real wood burning stoves and ample space for our family of 4. The cabin we stayed in had a down stairs twin (master bedroom), open plan corner sofa area with log burner, dining room table and corner kitchen. Also down stairs was a bathroom with toilet, shower, sink (which housed an under counter washing machine) and then door into a sauna. To the first floor there was a mezzanine sleeping area which had 3 single beds perfect for the kids. The cabin also had a heated drying cupboard for all of our winter garments (ski wear) in the entrance porch which was a fabulous addition and perfect to warm all of the kids ski wear, hats and gloves etc. The cabin also had an equipment store (a few doors down) which was accessible using the cabin key to store sleds. Sleds are the common method of transport for dragging the kids around or bringing your shopping home. (Be careful though as people just help themselves to sleds left unattended outside, so don’t expect them to be where you left them unless you hide them out of sight) There is a bus stop (Martinmukka) 2 mins walk from the end of Operonmukka (road). You can purchase a ski pass with combined bus pass which is more cost effective than paying €4 each per trip. With a pass, trips are unlimited during your stay which is great if you’re going to ski because you can hop on and off with skis at will. The bus route takes you to Zeropoint (ski rental & café) which is 5-10mins away usually 20-25 minute walk with skis. We decided to pay for a ski locker at Zeropoint so just locked our skis there at the end of of our ski (€32 for 3 days) which saved carrying each day. On days with high winds they shut the main gondola which made it problematic to ski over to other parts of the mountain (Southpoint) but we jumped on the R2 bus from Zeropoint which took us over there in about 15minutes. With young kids that were novices, the runs were perfect for them and we had a nice family ski. I would say that for more experienced skiers the number of runs are limited particularly during bad weather at this time of year. A number of runs are closed due to short hours of daylight but the main slopes are floodlit which offers something a bit different. We went to Lapland mainly to meet Santa so the skiing was an additional activity which worked well around other excursions. We booked a reindeer ride which was festive for the kids but fairly slow and uneventful compared to the Husky experience. The Huskies were great fun, over 18’s were able to drive their own sled with 6 dogs which was great whilst the family sat in the sled. We also headed to the Tonttula elf village to meet Santa which was great for the kids. I would recommend taking a bag of marshmallows so that you can toast them over the large open fire pit with the family. We ate (and drank) out at a number of local places. Our favourites in no particular order were; ‘lost Tacos’ (next door to the K-Supermarket), Classic Pizza (attached to the Levi Spa Hotel), Colorado Bar & Restaurant (Great steaks!!). Most places had kids options which were usually burger or chicken nuggets and chips. We were advised by a friend to purchase some drinks from duty free and/or from the supermarket as drinking in local bars was expensive (some bars between €8-€10 per pint or glass of wine). We had a great trip, thoroughly recommended!

Levi Cabins are an ideal choice for those wanting their own space away from the town centre, with ample room to play outdoors. Whilst cabins are privately owned, ours was spacious and well equipped. The cabin had a lovely log fire, and plenty of logs supplied. Bedrooms were sufficient and the heating was very generous. Surrounded by trees, a small terrace and balcony, the setting is tranquil and ideal for kids to play in the snow. I was worried this was too close to Levi and would be busy, it is very much not. The only challenge we found was transport, the bus is a few mins walk and we couldn't quite get the address for taxis using the app - but we worked it out eventually. I'd return to this location, if only I could find how to book direct. We were TUI customers.

Stayed in the cabins for 4 days over xmas and it was absolutely fantastic. Perfect for cozy nights in front of the open fire and relax in the sauna. So glad we did this rather than a hotel. You can stay in a hotel anywhere in the world, the cabin experience made it so much authentic and can come and go as you please. Levi town is 5 mins in cab away and taxis easy to get. We will 100% be going back.

Stayed at the Levi log cabins 22/21 to 26/21. Very warm and cosy. Had everything you needed (washing machine, cooker, fridge ect….) only down side was the main bedroom was small and couldn’t swing a cat. But would definitely visited again. And the open fire was great too.

We stayed in a large cabin for up to 10 people. Sledging on the doorstep! Quiet (about 15 min walk to town centre and slopes), cosy, clean and good kitchen/dining/living area with lovely open fire. Only downside was both loos were downstairs, which isn't made clear when booking. Main bathroom also contained the sauna and drying cupboard for laundry, so could get very hot with the underfloor heating too! Had a fab holiday but expensive to eat out -better to use K supermarket (10 min walk), bring your shopping home on sledges and cook.

We visited Levi in Lapland this Christmas, booked through Ingham's. We had young children, a teenager and grandparents and there was something for everyone. The excursions were excellent value for money and the Ingham's reps were outstanding. We really enjoyed Christmas dinner and were lucky enough to see the northern lights on boxing day. The town was beautiful and the ski slope was popular. We enjoyed the food and the scenery was simply breathtaking. I have a feeling we'll be coming back!
