kerala itself is very beautiful , but this kumarakom lake resorts is one of the best hotel in kumarakom, kerela, they basically have three types of room one with indoor private zacucci and second with private swimming pool, the third with runnining manmade small river, all are very luxrious. the best part is there houseboat, which one should not miss.... more

This hotel has a very beautiful location. On the Kerala backwaters with plenty of greenery all around. It is also a well made and well maintained resort with a nice meandering pool around the villas and a stone pathway with bridges. This is by far the nicest place we've stayed. The property is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are full of character. Staff were friendly. Facilities were excellent. Just a shame we didn't have a bit more time there to be able to try all the activities on offer. more

Had no idea what to expect but can say that the overnight we spent on the houseboat was one of the best travel experiences ever. The resort is amazing--recommend getting the cabana with the private plunge pool--a nice an accomodation as I have stayed in anywhere.
