we moved from nainital to ranikhet and were excited enough to look at the positioning and ambiance of hotel MEGHDOOT...the extremely wee maintained rooms, the evr active staff, the delicious food, the hot steaming coffee and the chilly weather made us go crazy...being a military base, ranikhet is quiet.....its a gr8 hotel to stay in......

Ranikhet is a excellent getaway where you a lovely view of the himalayan range. Hotel meghdoot was a good experience with friendly staff , great service n lovely delicious food. Absolutely loved the stay with spacious rooms.

Value for money. The rooms were huge, clean and comfortable. Were quite surprised at the service that was provided to us. Quite exceptional.

Excellent place to be around, nature, nature & nature.........Very good location not far from the town & not also very crowded, clean room,nice staff & good food. Nice trekking trails just behind the hotel & if lucky you listen to leopard roars in the evening !!

Stayed here in the first room which is sort of a family room. Location is not bad although away from the main market but was serving our purpose to stay in a quiet location so was perfect for us. Food is not the plus point & nor is the view from the rooms but it gives a feel of quaint... More

Hotel Meghdoot is pleasantly situated in a quiet place on mall road,near the cantonment area in Ranikhet.The locals here are very friendly and a pleasure to watch as they go about their daily chores.Do watch out fpor colourful and rare birds as the hotel has a great aesthetic sense and has thus kept the hotel full of potted beauties;all flowering... We very staying in the Cantt, but went to this place bang on the Mall road for a meal. The place is basically a small hotel, with shops & the restaurant on the ground floor, & the rooms above. The food was just about eatable. Salt was very high, & the service really slow.

can manage staying at the Meghdoot hotel in Ranikhet. Watching the mountains change colour is the best passtime here. Food quality is so so.. but a very courteous staff to take care of you. Not a quality hotel of a stay experience, but more so of a transit place good enough for a stop over stay and to keep you... More
