The Radisson SAS Parkhotel Radebeul is a former Steigenberger hotel, around 8 km from Dresden Citycenter. Unfortunately only the name has changed and nothing about the hotel or the room i got. This was a charming hotel but nowhere near the Dresden city center - in fact a good 20 minutes away with no easy public transportation. I've spent probably 150 nights at this hotel in the last 3 years.First it is not in Dresden but in a nice nearby town in the middle of old mansions that are one at a time be bought and restored.
