It was such a treat. It was even better than the five star taj .the rooms have been done up so tastefully . The bath room is beautiful. It has an open air shower and rub too totally private. Best place to stay in bandhavgarh

Atithi Devo Bhavah is a term that is true to India's hospitality industry, but off late I was loosing my faith in this way of life till I was pleasantly surprised by this unparalleled property.

Having stayed now at several safari camps, this exceeded all expectation. The accommodation was fantastic, wonderful food in a different location every evening, and as for the game drives ...I do not know where to start! We spent five nights over New Years at Samode Safari Lodge. Our seven year old rated it as the best holiday and rated the hotel owners dog as number 1, the hotel as two and the tiger as three. The amazing part of this hotel is the level of understated luxury...food, villas ( not rooms but suites), service standards etc....

My husband and I stayed at the Samode Safari Lodge with our two pre-school aged children for two nights. I was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was wonderfully accommodating for us and for our driver as well. The Lodge is secluded and peaceful. It has nice swimming pool which would be fantastic in warmer weather. We were there November...
