Walked by room next to mine, door was open. I was able to see bedbug damage from outside. I will never stay here again. See the pics. This room was inhabited by hoarders supposedly but that is no excuse for the owners to not crack down on this sooner. They are currently under renovations but I got NO WARNING about... More

My husband and I and 3 friends had 3 rooms at the Village Inn for New Year's Eve and we all were very happy with the hotel. The owner is a nice pleasant man, helpful, and chatty. The two kings and one double rooms were all clean and tidy, everything worked as it should, the beds were comfy. They have... More

I had a good stayed during the Home Hardware Fall Market show from Sept 21 to 23. Although the hotel is older, it was comfortable stay. There was free internet and a small continential breakfast each morning. The hotel is walking distance to Tim Horton's & subway, and the Casino for entertainment (although I did not get time to check... More

Spent one night in this "Inn" this past weekend with 2 other couples. Please do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. All 3 bathrooms had holes in the ceiling leaving the plumbing and duct work exposed. Management said that they had a leak! Dust and debris were visible in the tubs. Now maybe it is just me, but one... More

We stayed here last weekend for a cricket game. The hotel was very clean, modern, and updated. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfy. The way the backdoor of the room opens up to the beautiful backyard and its picnic benches was convenient and gave a sense of relaxation. The location was ideal... More

We chose this motel because the reviews were generally positive. However, we entered the motel and smelled some strange smells and the air quality was questionable. This should have been our first clue. We checked the bedding and found blood and stains on the mattress protector. When we asked the manager for a clean mattress protector he said, "what do... More

I stayed at the Village Inn, Elora, after an all-day hike on the Bruce Trail, and was pleasantly surprised. The Village Inn is essentially an unpretentious two-storey motel. It has been owned by Umesh and Gita for the past seven years, and they obviously take good care of the property. The room they gave me had a king-sized bed, and... More

The Village Inn hits all the major requirements. While it is not fancy, it is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is well situated and accessible to all the major attractions in the area. The room is large with a comfortable bed. It is not fancy at all but it did exceed our expectations by a wide margin. It represents very... More

We recently stayed at The Village Inn in Elora and found our stay to be very comfortable. The room was clean, service was friendly, and breakfast was a nice surprise. The location and price point was our primary reason to stay at this hotel.

This is a basic, relatively clean motel, complete with sliding doors out to a patch of grass with picnic tables. As of our visit, some of these tables were broken, albeit usable with care. The inn is dog-friendly (caveat: no dogs allowed on furniture, so we recommend a large blanket or something similar "just in case") with a $10 pet... More
