“Huge cockroaches all over the place”

I checked out a room at the Orchid Garden Hotel as it was recommended in the LP, but there were huge cockroaches all over the place. The room was dirty and the toilet wasn't flushed when I entered the room. Really disgusting.... We went to Kristal Hotel and had a modern, clean, aircon room there for only USD 55

“Bad hotel that has potential”

This hotel has the makings of a good base in Kupang. It has one of the few pools in town, the rooms are spacious and are set in a large garden, and there is a restaurant overlooking the pool.
