we had planned to stay at gränna first, but then decided to take the 10 minutes' drive to örserum to the smalandsgarden hotel. the rooms i'd call authentic, swedish, but nice and clean, wlan for free. location at lake, beautiful and quiet. run by nice people, coffee and biscuits avalaible all day long. parking in front of hotel.
