At check in no one thought to tell me about the £3 charge for the car park. Luckily when I wandered outside for some (relatively) fresh air I spotted the Pay and Display machine.... more

Although they never told us about the £3 car park fee - luckily another of our group... more

I know at such cheap prices you don't expect the ritz. but you would expect common courtesy and electrical sockets to work. I was staying with my two young boys (at the time 2 yrs and the other 3 mths. I requested a travel cot 24hrs before as instructed by travel lodge staf. It wasn't in the room. When I... more

We picked this Travelodge as it's close to Thorpe Park which we were visiting and it was also very cheap. However, the staff barely spoke 2 words to us, even on check-in. The room was so hot we could barely breathe and we had to close the window in the early hours due to teenagers playing in the car park... more

A clean and tidy Travelodge done in a slightly more modern style than usual - or at least trying to be "modern". Its quiet round the back although they do advise you on the website it could be noisy, presumably at the front which is on the busy Staines Road. Avoid the breakfast though unless you favour cold plates to... more
