We recently visited Venice and were so glad that we stayed on Murano, away from all the noise and crowds.The island has plenty of good restaurants and shops and Villa Lina is a short walk from the boat station. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were excellent and the owner,Evi, was a very gracious hostess.
