Aweful attitude at the reception, not wanting to apply the agreed discounts (later resolved with the involvement of the hotel manager). Sums it up in my review title. Don't expect an all inclusive. This is a surf hotel, with a nice beach bar, and a good beach break. Right off the bat this hotel made it difficult to make a reservation and the amount of faxes and paperwork was ridiculous. The first room they gave us reeked coming from the toilet and we asked to move. We moved to an upstairs room an it was okay. Great location, especially for surfing. It is one of the better places in Playa Hermosa de Jaco because it feels relatively cute. Try to get a room on the 2nd floor if you stay here.
