This is our idea of heaven especially with our 2 year old. The farm is in a stunning location surrounded by mountains that you can either admire or trek into. There are two cottages a field apart, each with a feeling of seclusion. We stayed in Pecan Cottage and much to our two year old's delight the sheep were in... More

Glen Avon is a working sheep farm a bit off the beaten track but well worth the visit. I had stayed here two yesrs before when my son and i did a road trip. We "stumbled upon" this gem of a guest accomodation on a working sheep farm purely by accident. When my wife and were on a hectic business... More

Great B&B and self catering at Glen Avon Farm close to Somerset East. Stayed in Hart Cottage, a large self catering cottage on the farm steeped in family history and comfortably furnished. Run by the farming family who were all very friendly and great hosts. Highly recommended! More
