The setting of the guesthouse is stunning, in a beautifully restored house. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. What a wonderful guesthouse in the country. We got exceptional service. It must have been the coldest night of the year, but under those wonderful duvets, nobody would have known.The bathrooms have underfloor heating whiich made bathing most enjoyable. Somerset East is an attractive town for a short stay, in a beautiful setting withing easy reach of game parks and other tourist sites. The Angler and Antelope is run by Alan and Annabelle who are wonderful hosts. Alan grew up on a farm nearby and is extremely knowledgeable about wildlife in the area.
