We stayed 2 nights in Silifke at the Arisan. It is listed in the Rough Guide to Turkey, so we thought we would give it a go. It is 2 minutes walk from the Otogar [bus station] and we were arriving by bus, so it seemed perfect. The hotel itself is a comfortable 5-10 minute walk to the town centre. The room was very plain and the sheets were dirty. There is no housekeeping that we would see, and our towels were not replaced on the 2nd day. We had a room with balcony, except the balcony door did not lock or close properly, so we had to push the wardrobe up against the door whilst we were out for the day. The staff said that they could do nothing about it. The room had a tv [with about 300+ channels] but no fridge. The rooms have air conditioning [you pay an extra 5YTL per night, to have aircon in your room]. There was no hot water in the shower either in the morning, midday or evening.
