Kiental is one of the most beautiful (> widly romantic) valleys in the Bernese Oberland. The hotel is located on a little plateau at the end of the valley. It is a perfect starting point for amazingly beautiful mountain hikes. There is also a play ground for kids (swings, slide).
The hotel is newly renovated. Everything is sparkling clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only shortcoming is the restaurant: the menu sounded very interesting - even for us as vegetarians - but the food it self was very bland. Breakfast however was very good (fresh fruit, cereal, nice cheese and bread). more
