Friendly, clean, comfortable, warm on a cold and windy night and well-appointed. We had three days work around the NE and stayed over three nights. The poshest was seriously expensive and okay (we're not bothered about fresh figs in the room but would have liked some fresh milk for a cup of tea!), the chain hotel was moderately priced and boring but okay but Springdale was the least expensive and the best!...
