Stayed in the Nueva Ribera Beach Club apartments in September and had the most chilled out holiday ever. We stayed in a 3 bedroom penthouse overlooking the Mar Menor. The apartment was excellent with great views ,sky tv and 2 double beds and 2 single beds in the 3 bedrooms.The weather was still hot 80-85 degrees but had a nice breeze to cool you down. My wife and I went for 4 days but could have stayed longer!!! We used to walk along the beach (which is fantastic) to a beach bar (there is a bar every 200 yards for morning coffee then chill out on the beach or round the pool all day. Lunch is also great at the bars or you can go to a range of bars for a bite to eat which are within a 15 min walk. A car is advisable for getting around to go further afield.The historic towns and cities of Cartagena and Murcia are 20 mins drive away and the very quaint Los Alcazares is 5 mins drive which has some great shops and restaurants.
