We recently stayed with Peter and Bobbie while on our honeymoon. I must say our three days with them were more than we could have hoped for - we enjoyed all the benefits of staying with family - a warm greeting, great conversation/company over dinner, etc. with all you hope for from a luxury hotel - superb meals, great wine,... Every once in a while travel brings a time of beauty, hospitality, serendipity and perfect convergence of all things wonderful. Such was our stay at Edenhouse, an elegant English style B&B with interesting things around every corner. There are 2 rooms and one cottage in the 48 acres of private property comprised of gardens, vistas, fruit and flowering trees, sculpture,... More

We recently spent three nights at Edenhouse and had a simply marvelous time. From the moment we arrived until we left Peter and Bobbie made us feel like welcomed friends rather than paying customers. When we arrived it was early spring and Bobbie's English style garden was just coming into bloom and one could see how much effort and love... More

Eden House is not a hotel or lodge but a charming country home situated on 48 acres of private grounds. The proprietors and hosts of this lovely home are Peter and Bobbie. They make you feel like this is your home and could not be more gracious. Expect to fall in love with Annie the dog. She is a sweetie!... More

A beautiful B&B, but even more important, Peter and Bobbie are the most wonderful B&B hosts ever! They make sure that you have everything you need and that your stay in the Nelson region while with them is as wonderful as it can be. For instance, we had a problem with our rental car -- so while we were spending... More

We loved our sojourn at Edenhouse. Peter and Bobbie were the perfect hosts at a wonderful dinner which remains one of the highlights of our month-long tour of Australasia. Everything is detail perfect with charm and effortless elegance. The accommodations were enormously comfortable and they did everything possible to make us feel welcome and at home. Oh, and we also... More

Our time at Edenhouse was magical. It is such a luxurious and serene place to stay. Peter and Bobbie were such attentive hosts and made us feel incredibly comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the food is wonderful. It was the perfect end to our vacation in New Zealand. The only regret you will have is that you will have... More

We arrived just before New Year's eve - a family of 5 - at Edenhouse and were so warmly welcomed by Peter & Bobbie Martin (and Annie the dog!), the owners of this absolutely delightful hidden gem (it is so much more intimate than a "hotel" and so much more than a "guest house"). The location is wonderful in the... More

We truly enjoyed our stay at Edenhouse. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night and would have stayed longer if we had been able to. After a long 2-day sea kayaking adventure, Edenhouse was exactly what we needed. Bobbi & Peter were incredible hosts, sharing with us personal information, how they got started in the business, history of their... More
