Please, visit Kaiteriteri, the Abel Tasman Park, Motueka....it is a fantastic place. Please DO NOT stay at this "guesthouse". The place looks like an old scout camp that have been abandoned for the last 30 years. Don't be deceived by the blurry pictures on the website (taken from 2km distance). There are Compost bins everywhere, what explains why there are... more

Just coming back from a holiday at the Abel Tasman Guesthouse and highly recommending this place to anyone planning to explore the Abel Tasman area. We booked online, and the website has good photos. Do not be deceived though, the B&B is barely so. Our "self contained room" was in the basement of their house. The owner was lazy and not very hospitable; after a 1.5 km walk up a side road, we were not offered so much as a glass of water upon arrival!... more

I am not so sure  whether the reviewer has actually been  in our Guesthouse or dreaming about it , there is no basement in our Guesthouse  ,it is not a B&B  although we provide breakfast on request (Indonesian Nasi Goreng continental as well as  English breakfast ) the  toppings  on our home made spelt bread consisted of avocado, french pate',Edam cheese,...
