we stayed there for 6night in sep2012 it was beautiful hotel with great pool and nice view of sea and it's staff were friendly but hotel service was poor and food quality was not good and all days was the same. the air condition didn't work good our room was hot!

went to the Mercure 6th Sept for 14 days,the hotel is nice been three times before,the food this year not as nice plenty of meze and desserts,main meal very poor not even hot,breakfast was nice,the hot water and coffee machines broke down alot,the diet section was not worth having very poor,the cracked cups was dirty,salt,pepper pots was never filled,not enough... the travelers said ,two years ago this hotel was much more better,but it wasn't good now.the food quality was very bad and the service was very poor this summer.when ever you wanted to have a cup of tea,there wasn't hot water or clean cups or tea bags.ypu couldn't find enough tissues on the tables in the restaurant and so on.there... We stayed at Mercure from sep13 till sep19 &really enjoyed it.every thing was fine, although Cyprus hotels (north or south)aren't as luxurious as all inclusive hotels in Turkey . we went there for a week .we were 8 freinds . and paid for a all inclusive package, however the food was so bad we ate our everyday, never seen this before. I was in town to work at a poker tournament at the Merit Crystal Cove, but was staying here. If I wasn't spending time at the Merit, then I would have loved Mercure, however it was hard to not compare the two. Mercure has all the same offerings, but is a budget version of the Merit. Just got back this afternoon could not fault the staff so polite and very helpful even though it was absolutely packed and very hot. Always plenty choice of freshly cooked food besides salads not to mention the desserts. Hotel was spotless. It was our 3rd visit to this hotel and will definitely go again.
