Have just returned from a weekend in An-Struan. Weather was beautiful, as of course was Bonnie Argyll, which makes any break memorable. But, from the marvellous breakfasts (BEWARE !!!) to the glorious log fire in the evenings, things couldn't have been better. The 'Grumpy old man' wasn't at all grumpy......until his team lost on the Sunday !!!! Even the friendly... more

You can easily compare how the b&b spirit changed in over ten years. This one (even if settled in a neighbourood of almost all b&b) could be an exception among those owners that becomes hosts on the business wave. Your room could be that of your uncle's summer house, and also breakfast and a very good welcome is assured. more

From the welcome when we arrived to the farewell when we left, nothing was too much trouble. They really did want us to have a great stay, and the area has some hidden gems to visit, including a great summer cafe over the road. more

We found this brilliant B&B while looking for an accommodation in Oban during our trip to Scotland in May 2008. Due to some kind of festival, Oban was packed.
