Lovely venue and fabulous food. We sat by a fire whilst we pondered the menu and ordered wine. We were then moved to our table where the wine was waiting for us. Waiting service was good and a thoroughly enjoyable evening all round. More

A traditional coaching inn style pub which is more a high quality restaurant with a handful of very well appointed bedrooms. I love the bar area which has a lovely wood burning stove and serves good quality, local, real ales. The restaurant is the main reason people visit as it simply fantastic. Great local produce cooked very well. I'm very... More

From the moment we walked in to the lovely inn we felt wanted and welcome as customers. The lunch menu is considerably less elaborate than at dinner but the brasserie is a pleasant eating environment and the breast of guinea-fowl was beautifully cooked and presented. Water was brought to the table without asking. The starters and desserts excellent and even... More

Have been going to the kinmel arms occasionally for a number of years, and have to say that it is always a delightful experience, whether going for lunch or dinner, or even staying in one of the delightful rooms. Both Tim and Lynn are genial hosts and make customers so welcome and have the knack of making you feel special.... More

This was part of a two days/ nights away, split between here and another location. I wished I had booked both nights here; absolutely fantastic stay. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast is taken in the room, which I am a fan of anyway and is absolutely delicious; none of that fried nonsense.... a wide choice... More

MrP and I first ate at the Kinmel Arms a couple of years ago and were not particularly impressed and had no desire to return. However, following a recent recommendation from a friend, we decided to give it another go and were so pleased we did. The food was extremely good. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and service was top... More

A perfect way to spend an evening with friends and loved ones. We had the Christmas menu, which was absolutely superb, and excellent value. The hosts and staff made this a very special occasion. You never feel rushed, and feel very much looked after. A big thank you to all concerned. For us it is the Best restaurant the the... More

Went here for office Christmas meal, if this is the usual standard will not be back. Very average at the price, trying to get too many flavours into each dish, the portions were meagre, not very well cooked and were sat at a table that was only just big enough for our party. More

We stayed for one night and ate there that evening. The owners were so helpful. The rooms are wonderful, if a little quirky. The evening meal was great, fantastic flavours, nice presentation, helpful staff, hard to fault so I won't try. The breakfast is unusual in that it is continental in style and is left in your room the evening... More

We booked here on recommendation but were sadly disappointed, given the hype. Although elements of the meal were generally satisfactory, the overall impression was of bland, tasteless food. As non-meat eaters there was a fair selection of fish dishes and the staff were very adaptable when my husband advised them of his allergy to seafood, however, the resultant dish was... More
