Booked this decidedly upmarket B&B in July 2012 for 2 night stay with 1 evening meal. My party being my wife & I & her friend. By the time we arrived in Sept 2012 I discovered to my surprise that the property had ben sold. We were met in the garden by this charming German lady whom I initially thought... More

Mossies B&B was the highlight of our accomodations on the trip to Ireland, which my boyfriend and I made a month ago. I felt like a princess in the gorgious and very luxurious russian room with the bath, where dreams come true. Each detail in the B&B is lovingly decorated and arranged. The house and the huge garden seems to... More

Just stayed 1 night and the most beautiful house and quiet and peaceful location. A must for those wanting to get away from it. Owners very friendly and interesting. The House was rebulit by previous owners and would have won any Grand Designs competition.

The house is beautiful, an old period residence dripping in charm and period detail. The previous owners poured love into it and it is to be seen everywhere you look. The room was really very comfortable and beautiful. This was to have been the highlight of our walking trip on Beara. However the dinner was basic, a vegetarian (requested) pancake and... More

My wife and I spent 2 days in May at Ulusker House, and we both agreed that the welcome, hospitality, accommodation and food was probably the best which we have encountered anywhere in Ireland. Ulusker House is slightly tricky to find, but so comfortable and homely that it is much more difficult to leave. Many thanks Lorna for a memorable... More

Lovely room, great food, nice people, good service. Had a wonderful time. Had the view/location been better (ie ocean or valley view) then I would give it a 5.

My wife and I booked for a two night stay at Ulusker House. We really enjoyed our stay. The accomodation was clean, bright and very good value. In addition, Lorna is quite a cook and we enjoyed the breakfast menu and the dinner that was cooked for us on our evening of arrival. Lorna was happy to spend time telling... More

Lorna made us feel like we've been long time friends, even though this was our first visit. My wife and I had many enjoyable talks with her and she made us feel very welcomed. Meals, both breakfast and dinner, were terrific especially her breakfast kippers and the Sea Bass for dinner, it doesn't hurt that she gets the fish daily from... More
