Spent 3 nights in Rose Cottage, and everything you require is there and more. We turned up quite late in the evening and was greeted with a warm welcome that was accompanied with some fantastic scones & jam and plenty of information for our stay and heating on!. We were very lucky to be the only ones there and arriving... More

We loved The Cottages for our recent family trip! It was a quiet time before Christmas, and the owners graciously upgraded our reservation to Thatcher's Rest. The location is great for seeing both the Boyne Valley sights and getting into Dublin. Behind a gate, the cottages are quiet with private access to a lovely flat beach that one can stroll... More

Just enjoyed a wonderful winter weekend in The Cottages. Clear, cold day that was ideal for working up an appetite and great excuse for hot whiskies! Hearty dinner with the family, red wine by the fire and the most amazing full moon over a calm Irish sea. This is a genuinely beautiful hideaway just outside Dublin. More

Traditional thatched cottages on the beach, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Interior warm & homely & on arrival staff greet you with local info & a plate of scones! Books are left for you to enjoy which was a nice touch. Restaurant & bars within walking distance (by road or by walking on the beach - Lovely). More

The cottages more than lived up to the description on the website - what you saw was what you got ... and more besides. We were an extended family, there for a birthday celebration, using 3 cottages and it couldn't have worked out better! How did they organise the weather to be sooooo sunny and sooo mild for Novemeber? The... More

I have just spent the most relaxing weekend ever in 'The Cottages', from the moment I arrived until leaving it was just so peaceful. I cannot find the words to express how wonderful it was, the location, accomodation and the staff were just so good. I will be returning as soon as I possibly can! At some point I shall... More
