We booked a room at the Barbaros Beach Hotel for three days. Actually we wished to stay for 5 nights, but as it was high season, they asked us to stay 2 nights at their village apartments. Having visited this hotel many times in the past, I was very pleased by the improvements the new owner has made. The bathrooms have been completely refitted and it all works very well. The bedrooms have new beds and furniture and the whole place has been redecorated. The staff are very friendly and work hard to make your stay relaxing... more
Sadly Tayfun has sold the Iffet. It is now called the Barbaros Beach Hotel. I haven't stayed there yet, so I cannot comment on the facilities. The old Iffet had rather poor toilet/shower rooms, but they worked and you don't go on holiday to stay in the toilet. My wife and I have been on holiday in Turkey about 10... more
We stayed at the iffet hotel in turunc last year 2003 in august, The hotel is at the opposite end to the harbour but only a short walk (about 5 minutes)along sea front . & only a shotr walk to the restraunt & bars 3 minutes THE IFFET IS RIGHT ON THE SEA FRONT you couldnt ask for anything better... more
