I have just returned, with my husband, from our 2nd visit in 4 years and once again were very reluctant to go home! We don't have a bad word to say about this beautifully situated, well appointed, clean and friendly site. We would quite happily camp here every year if we didn't enjoy a change of scenery now and again!... More

We've just returned from a two week camping holiday and used Camping Le Moulin Fort as an overnight stop for our outward and return trips. We will not be returning. Although it's in a fairly nice location, the campsite was too crowded for our taste and it didn't feel particularly welcoming. There was Sky TV in the bar and I... More

This is an extremely friendly site with beautiful lakeside pitches. This site is perfectly placed whether you want to do trips around the many wine houses or castles or whether you want to relax and enjoy the iece and quiet. More

Well, we ended our holiday in what can only be described as the best, and possibly the most relaxing location. Picture a summers evening, you have your wine, olives, bread (oil and vinegar of course!), you're outside your tent, the sun is setting over the beautiful bridge nearby, then a number of hot air balloons gently drift nearby...... utter bliss!... We have stayed at this site for the last 5 years some times staying for just time to book the local vets for the return trip to UK otherwise we have stayed for three or 4 weeks both in June and also September. The site is always immaculate, the toilet blocks are kept clean The staff are always extremely friendly,... More

Just visited this site and was impressed. The site is very well maintained and clean. We had a nicely sized pitch by the river and didn't feel too close or cramped next to other campers. The facilities are very good with excellent sanitary blocks for toilets, wash rooms and showers. Make sure you have a 20m extension lead at least... More

the location is just superb, with the pretty village of Chenenceau just up the road, and the chateau just visible from the site. The area has lots to offer, and this site makes for a great base from which to explore the local area. We booked this site before we came across the reviews in this website, and we sere... More

We came to this site through the Alan Rogers guidebook and were not disappointed. We were immediately made welcome and booked in for the barbeque that evening with live music. We had nice neighbours and sat with them with good food and live music which was excellent. I have never felt so comfortable at a site before, it was almost... More

My wife and I have been attending Moulin Fort for many years, even before the current owners John and Sarah took it over. If you are not a party animal and observe reasonable standards, this is an excellent site. It is very well maintained, the staff are excellent and the owners are very helpful. If you push the boundaries, upset... More

I agree with everyone that this site is well placed and paeceful but please note if you are in a tent think twice before going as we had our tent slashed at night in 7 places making it difficult to use the tent for future holidays. The thieves apparently have been doing this for several years and so this should... More
