My wife and I booked a one night stay at this hotel to finish our weeks holiday in Ireland as it is only a short journey from the Belfast Stena Line Ferry Terminal on which we were booked for a noon crossing which would fetch us back to the U.K.

The hotel web site is very impressive and we both agreed it would be an perfect last night stop to our holiday so we booked an evening meal, bed and breakfast for Thursday 13th July 2006.

The setting of the hotel raised as it is in woodlands overlooking Carlingford Loch is indeed very pretty however none of the pictures on the web site include the main view from the front of the hotel across Carlingford Loch which is the shipping container terminal of Warrenpoint !!!.

The hotel appears to be a converted mansion house with an extension added to cater for functions, weddings in the main.

Our room was none to large but not to badly furnished and the public areas in general were comfortable enough... more
