Just returned from a magical week staying at Shambani cottages on Diani beach, Kenya. We arrived to find the fridge stocked, fresh fish included, offers of any help we might need and then left to our own devices. We were most impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, from being fetched from the train station, receiving a complimentary basket of fruit in our cottage, having the pool man provide coconuts for our children to the very helpful and friendly lady cleaning our cottage.
