We had a three week stay at the Dona Sylvia. We had a wedding and honeymoon there. The staff were incredible nothing was too much for them, they helped us with are preparations (especially Sannie on front reception). It's billed as a 5-star, but be very careful with this resort. Although there are no real "fatal flaws," an endless series of small irritations will overwhelm you and leave you pretty dissatisfied. A great place to be in with your spouse and enjoy the beauty of the Cavellosim beach. The beach is just a leisurely walk from your room and we had a room facing the sea. Lounge on the verandah as you sip you beer (preferably local) and then run to the beach and get soaked in the rains. Good place... more

This was our second time in south Goa and this time stayed at the Dona Sylvia for 3 weeks. Short walk to the beach, food excellent and varied. Liked it so much have booked again for next year. Our only issue was we were given a shared veranda which we didn't like. Didn't like the idea of sharing with strangers.... more

The resort was great. It was clean and also very tidy it is a great place for a quiet relaxing holiday with your family or even for couples. I went with my family and we had a brilliant time. The people are very nice. more
