A quite small building of apartments less than 10 minutes from the beach (which has nice sand but is very narrow) and a similar distance to the local shops and tavernas. It has a small pool which is not owned by the apartments - I didn't try the pool as the sea is so close but it seemed reasonablly popular.... more

Just back from Katerina apartments in Vasilikos. A comfortable studio room with small kitchen. Location was perfect for a quiet relaxing beach holiday. Tavernas nearby, served good quality Greek food. Beaches were clean and did not get busy before 10 am. Water was clean and warm. Hired bikes to get to Gerakis beach and turtle conservation area. My husband and 3-year old son returned recently from Vassilikos on the island of Zakynthos. We used tour operator Direct Greece and had a wonderful time. Me, my husband and our 2 kids stayed at Villa Katerina for 2 weeks in July 2003 and had a wonderful time! The property has both smaller studios and larger apartments and the whole setting is just beautiful in the olivegrove next to the little cosy beach of Porto Roma.
