What a wonderful stay at this newly restored Victorian house, I stayed for 1 night in the double room on the first floor facing the street, and if you look closely, a sea view! It was a huge room fitted out with period furniture and a giant bed which was just sooooo comfortable, a much needed oasis after walking 20 miles on the Cleveland Way. I had a private toilet and bathroom whilst not en-suite it made no difference. A nice touch was the refreshing and contemporary breakfast room at the end of the hallway which offered free cups of tea and coffee with the use of a number of modern appliances. The morning breakfast was gorgeous and was constantly attended by the family cat hoping for a few scraps! A short, but very refreshing stay with hosts who know how to impress! more
