While holidaying in Tartane this year, my fiance and I visited the restaurant in the Baie du Galion hotel. We were recommended to go there by the lovely and very helpful reception staff, who went out of their way to show us where it was. From there, things went downhill. The setting in Tartane was attractive, the view to the ocean was beautiful. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping was quite good. The pool was quite enjoyable. My room had a kitchenette which was interestingly located on the balcony. It was decently stocked with eating/cooking implements. The bad points, however, were several. The bed was "hobbit" height. We had a lovely stay at at the Karibea Baie du Galion Resort. The rooms were nice, good value, and the views superb. We enjoyed the location next to the fishing village, all the little restaurants around and the great excursions all around. The welcome was nice, and overall, the hotel was a good value.
