This B&B is situated superbly: You can instantly have great walks from out of it and spot wildlife like deer and birds of prey, walk along the river or scamble to some hill-top or mountain-top. The couple that runs 'Inverstrae' is really great, friendly, helping, interested and makes you feel as if you are family of their own. PS Jim,... More

Had a wonderful stay here in late September with fantastic hosts Ina and Jim. The location is stunning, the house incredibly comfortable and the welcome very warm (especially from Jack, the adorable little spaniel)! Slept in a giant comfortable bed with a breathtaking view of the glen and the hills beyond. Breakfast (in a lovely sunny kitchen, warmed by the... More

It is gratifying to see that our standards are being maintained and which helped these guests maximise the pleasure gained in their first visit to this beautiful part of Argyll. Autumn in this part of the world provides spectacular scenery and colour along with the first chill air and clear skies. When the weather is right the night sky here... More

A house in the middle of nowhere so that you can rest from the road trip, a lovely night with Ina and James chatting in their wonderful living room with a view on the mountains around, hearing stories about the neighbourhood, and the village, about the everyday life in Dalmally, a wonderful diner (Ina cooks sooooooo well!!!) - they definitely... It was really pleasing to welcome this family from Malta as a result of a previous visit by another family from that part of the world. The weather during their time here gave them a full range of experiences and recognising our duty of care to our guests it was expedient to recover them from their walk on the wild... More

It is always a pleasure to be complemented on our service and this is no exception. The visit was part of an 80th birthday celebration which included a visit to the Clan seat. The bagpiping recital was arranged as a fitting climax to the visit to Scotland and was well received amidst the stunning vistas of our beautiful Glen Strae. More
