We booked this hotel as we thought it would be a really quiet and relaxing spot, perched on the shore of Loch Awe. What a disappointment. Our 'Loch view' room turned out to have a filthy flat roof and kitchen ventilation outside the window which not only obscured 75% of the view but was noisy from 7am and smelled bad... more

The gentleman reported the earrings missing from his wife's jewlery box (nothing else was taken). He then left to go out for the day, declining to wait for the police! The police were informed and called at the hotel several days later. The hotel has been in touch with the gentleman and his wife and have passed their details on...

From the response pertaining to the enquiry till the minute we left after our stay this was without doubt the best leasure time that we have ever had. David and his beautiful and wallpaper picking gifted good lady make you feel part of a very large family immediately. They, along with there children work tirelessly to ensure that you want... more

Loch Awe is one of the most peaceful and stunning locations I have visited in Great Britain. The Hotel staff were very welcoming and I was more than happy with my room and its facilities. I sampled a variety of items on the restaurants menu and was satisfied with it all. There are lots of places to visit in the... more

The hotel is set in the most beautiful surroundings on the edge of Loch Awe. We all had a great time (including the dog) and despite the weather not being perfect the whole time, we had some great walks and trips on the loch. Lovely hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. more

On arrival we were greated by an yound Eastern European man who advised the room we had been allocated wasn't ready, although it was well after 4pm... more

we have just got back after 3 days here, returning on 23rd April and there was no log fire on any night we were there! Perhaps if they had lit one, there may have been some hot water!! This happened at least twice whilst we were there- fortunately we had our showers before the first one hit, but on our... more
